Currently serving as the Chief Clinical Officer at InBloom Autism Services, Ellen’s dedication to improving the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is clear in everything she does. Her journey from starting as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to becoming a key leader in one of the country’s most respected autism service providers speaks volumes about her commitment and expertise.

Ellen’s career took root with a solid academic foundation, earning her B.A. in Psychology with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from West Virginia University and an M.S. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in ABA from Nova Southeastern University. Her time at The Kennedy Krieger Institute’s neurobehavioral unit at Johns Hopkins University further refined her skills and fueled her passion for ABA.

Her role at InBloom Autism Services has evolved significantly over the past eight years. From starting as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2016 to becoming the Director of Program Integrity and then VP of Clinical Operations, Ellen has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s clinical structure. Since taking on the position of Chief Clinical Officer in 2019, Ellen has ensured that InBloom consistently maintains the highest standards of ABA services.

Under her leadership, Ellen has created a system that focuses on continuous improvement, comprehensive staff training, and a supportive culture for the entire clinical team. She’s been the driving force behind the development of systems that ensure InBloom’s services meet and exceed industry standards.

Ellen believes strongly in the power of ABA to bring about positive change, stating, “Having the ability to implement research-based ABA interventions, that have proven to be effective for children with ASD time and time again, is both comforting and fulfilling. With these tools, we can make big changes in a person’s current quality of life, as well as provide an everlasting impact for his/her future. I can’t imagine anything more gratifying than that!”

InBloom Autism Services: Supporting Families Through Every Step

Founded in 2015, InBloom Autism Services has made waves by offering top-tier ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. With over 28 learning centers across seven states, InBloom has rapidly expanded, yet its mission has remained constant: providing high-quality, compassionate autism services that put the child and family first.

InBloom was created to redefine what autism services should look like, ensuring that each child receives personalized, research-based therapy that focuses on meaningful progress. The organization emphasizes clinical excellence and the emotional support needed by families navigating an autism diagnosis. This focus helps parents and caregivers understand the steps involved and stay involved in child care.

One of InBloom’s standout achievements is its accreditation from the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE), a testament to its commitment to quality. This accreditation reassures families that they are receiving services from an organization that meets the highest industry standards, providing peace of mind during an often overwhelming journey.

At InBloom, the goal is to improve children’s lives by giving them the tools they need to succeed. The team works together, communicates clearly, and always keeps the child’s needs at the center of their work. With Ellen Fittro’s leadership, InBloom continues to provide care that helps children with autism make meaningful progress.
