By the time practices reopened, the company had become sharper in its operations and stronger in its culture. Double-digit growth and healthy margins followed, but the more lasting lesson came from the experience itself. As Joel puts it, “Over-communicate, simplify the playbook, and take care of your people so they can take care of patients.”

Strategic expansion is equally deliberate. Joel describes the plan as deepening their presence across the West Coast while selectively entering priority markets nationwide. The team is increasing oral surgery days and pursuing tuck-ins where their operational playbook can create immediate value.
